
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Chadormalu Energy Development Company (TAACHCO) and CPG Germany to expand technical, engineering, and technology-transfer cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and green steel industries.
According to TAACHCO’s Public Relations Department, the agreement aims to foster technological collaboration in power plant optimization, energy efficiency enhancement, water and gas resource management, and carbon reduction initiatives within the metals and mining sectors.
During the signing ceremony, Saeed Bastani, Chief Executive Officer of TAACHCO, emphasized the importance of advancing innovative technologies in Iran’s energy sector, stating:
“Chadormalu Energy Development Company is expanding its cooperation with leading domestic and international organizations to enhance efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and accelerate the transition toward clean production. Our collaboration with CPG Germany provides a valuable opportunity for technology transfer and the implementation of innovative projects in renewable energy and green steel industries.”
He further announced the company’s readiness to undertake joint projects in the areas of combined-cycle power plants, decarbonization initiatives, and the development of green steel technologies.
Meghdad Palizdar, representative of CPG Germany, also expressed his satisfaction with the commencement of this partnership, stating:
“Iran possesses significant potential for energy production and development. We are prepared to contribute to the advancement of the country’s energy infrastructure through technology transfer, equipment supply, and the execution of joint projects.”
